Kayla is the newest member of the Bloodworth Law Firm joining our staff in October 2023. Originally from Kansas, she moved to Louisiana and began her career as a law office receptionist. Through her dedication and quick learning ability, she was given the opportunity to be promoted to a legal secretarial position and then to paralegal. She then moved to Texas in 2014 and broadened her paralegal experiences between the states. She brings just over 16 years of knowledge to her paralegal position.  Kayla assists with client relations, managing our firm dockets, drafting and preparing discovery responses, drafting pleadings, and ensuring deadlines are met, and supervising our support staff.

Kayla has been happily married to her husband Ron for seventeen years. Together they have eight children and four grandchildren. While outside the office Kayla enjoys reading, music, snuggling with her English Bulldog “Uncle Fester”, spending time with friends, and watching her children and grandchildren grow.
